name: Andy Suhrbier profile: At dozens of Lame family functions I was forced to go to as I was growing up, the only thing that made it manageable was that I could hang out with Cousin Andy. It started young, when both our mothers insisted that the other was a bad influence on their son. The fact of the matter is that when together, both of us did stuff we would Never have done by ourselves. We certainly enjoyed being irreverent and unruly together, and we always managed to have fun, even at the most boring events. I still really enjoy hanging out with Andy whenever I get a chance, drinking beer (which has become an important part of our get-togethers) and having philosophical discussions/arguments (although he is much calmer than I am about things). He currently lives in Chehalis and talks to oysters as part of his job as a Biologist for the Pacific Shellfish Institute. |
