Got one more item on Stupor Blow XLIII. One of the things the NHL gets right is the playoff MVP award, called the Smythe trophy, and there is a precedent for it to go to a member of the losing team in the finals -- because it is, after all the PLAYOFF MVP award, and the playoffs last 4 rounds.
The problem is, I'm not sure if Kurt Warner or Larry Fitzgerald would get it. i thought Kurt Warner was awesome today -- and even in the loss he may have secured Hall of Fame credentials -- remember that was the league's #1 ranked defense he was playing against. Of course, Fitz was impressive all playoffs, and he may have been slightly overshadowed by Santonio Holmes today, but he had the best post-season for a receiver in NFL history.
And no, I've got no love for the Steelers... I'd rather talk about the losing team than the damn Steelers.
