Well, I feel I must respond to the shocking ignorance of my readers, many of whom have spent most of their lives in Washington, and seem to have no idea what The Enchantments are. I want you to all slap yourselves on the forehead right now. Seriously. I'll wait...

I did a series of Google searches and found a startling paucity of decent websites, most notably from the Official Wenatchee Nat'l Forest Site (which is probably a good thing, the Enchantments hardly need more publicity). About the best thing I found was this PI artice from 1998.
