this is something I wrote for a message bored (board) that Ryu has -- its the only "message bored (board)" I ever visit and/or post to, and even then sporadically at best, but that's another rant for another day -- anyway, I liked it, so I will share it with the mass public:

this doesn't Really have anything to do with Anything, but I've decided I want to start a couple of TV channels. The first would be LCDTV (Lowest Common Denominator T.V.) and would more or less strive to be that channel you surf to whenever the show you are actually Watching goes to commercial break. Lot's of T&A, a "Weather Girl" "dressed" in various stages of undress (bikinis, lingerie, dominatrix outfits, et al). I'd form a made-for-T.V. local pro wrestling league to broadcast, stuff like that.

The other channel would be the "Jake Network" and be a something like cross between ESPN Classic and the History/Discovery/Learning channels, with lots -- and I mean Lots -- of Simpsons re-runs. Like maybe an hour of Simpsons for every 2 hours of "regular" programming.
