So, I was commissioned to produce no less than 4 beers for the Jonneke Wedding, on August 3rd, 2002. I had already decided on making a raspberry-wheat, and a "remake" of Piss-Free Pilsner was requested. This became Jonneke Betrothal Beer, since it wasn't really a "pilsner" due to higher fermentation temperatures. Jonneke Pale Ale was made to be "simple" beer, nothing complicated but a nice, strong, hoppy beer. The Amber Ale was as advertised, and was probably the "lightest" beer of the bunch in terms of flavor. --JAKE |
