and, of course, yesterday, I completely forgot to mention the Pineapple Lambic that I made with Ryu, as a follow-up to the legendary Pineapple Ale. It will be ready to go... sometime next spring.

I am a big loser...
I have been making all kinds of beer, but haven't been saying shit about it, furthermore, I have completely stopped using this blog, or updating the beer page. I suck.
here is what has been made since the last post:
the Strong Ale/Barley wine was very strong, but pretty damn good. Very rich, yet smooth. definitely a slow drinker, and dangerous to mix with other beer.
The Thanksgiving beer was pretty damn good. There are only a couple bottles left.
In late September, I pressed some cider, enough for two batches of Getherdrunk hard cider. One will have raspberries, and one is just straight apple cider. I also used different kinds of yeast in the two, a champagne yeast in the raspberry one (the same kind used in the infamous original version last March) and regualr cider yeast in the regular cider. I bottled both batches a couple weeks ago. I'll take a taste test by New Years.
The Spiced X-mas ale was "debuted" last week. It is definitely spicey, but good. I'm saving most of it for Christmas-New Years.
Rich made a pumpkin spice ale in early November. It was bottle this week, and will be available for New Years. Greg made an IPA for his brother's birthday, and it was also bottled this week.
The Winter "dark" Super Bowl beer, so named because it will "debut" for the Super Bowl, was made in Mid-November. It is currently in its secondar fermentation stage, and will probably be bottle shortly after Christmas.
that is all for now.
