Well, it's time for Picture Ofthe Year....

that's right, POD is One Year Old (if you remember the official Launch was on New Year's day last year, with this picture. I've been thumbing through the archives as the afternoon has worn on, and I've been watching the Huskies, garnering news from the Holmgren press conference (he steps down as GM and a bunch of defensive coaches get canned) and doing a half-hearted job of cleaning the house. I have narrowed Picture Ofthe Year down to a few, final nominees. Anyone willing to chime on which one they think should be the "winner" can go ahead and email me (jake@ambiguously-disgruntled.com). so here they are:

April 12: photo essay by Greg titled Jake Gets a Beer

7-28: The first official event in Seahawks Stadium gets good treatment with an honest-to-goodness action photo -- probably the best picture I took all year

August 4th: The Jonneke Wedding

09-07: Green Mt. pan

I took a number of pictures of the Big Family Dinner and Gift Exchange on Christmas afternoon-evening, but none of them are really all that great. It happens sometimes, I guess. I decided to post this picture of Your Truly relaxin' on the sofa while my spazzed-out 4-year-old cousin frolicks in the living room. Mia, my cousin Ben's daughter (which I guess makes her not really a cousin but a... second cousin?.. once removed...?) was one of 5 (five) spazzed-out 4-years-old or younger kids, amongst the 22 total, at the X-mas day BFDGE.
